A Morning Run by Abraham Hunter

“Todays a big day for me! I get to share this huge painting with you! This spring I came to the conclusion that
painting small too often was beginning to hold me back, so I took a deep breath and used my wild imagination one morning to dive head first into a three foot by six foot painting of a subject I love... deer, a farm in the snow, and spending time with my son. This painting depicts the moment a group of whitetails breaks for cover after being spotted by a little boy and his father preparing for their snow day activities.

If you could have seen the oil paint all over my clothes by the time I was done! Working big means bigger brushes, more paint (I went through several tubes), more mess, more room for details, and more freedom! Storytelling about subjects I love on a massive canvas has lit a spark inside me, and I've already been working on my next! Thank you all for the opportunity to do this and share it with you!”
