“No place on the planet gives me a sense of connection and awe that the sight and sound - yes even the sand of the beach gives me. Walk through the dunes and it is as if you are an ancient human on the vast sea shore staring out at something you can’t explain. Where is the end of it? How far does it go? Why do the waves keep rolling in? What kind of life is hidden under the reflection? So many questions and things to ponder - maybe that is why I love it so - it puts me in a state of childlike understanding - “why” is about all I can think to ask. Who receives our questions when we are “in over our head” in understanding? I am truly thankful for the Master Creator - who knows all things and delights in giving peeks into His universe and into His Kingdom. He walks with me and talks with me and yes, on occasion sings to me.”
