Morning Ride by Abraham Hunter

 

I recently had my first trip to the beach in a couple years. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot and saw the boardwalk and smelled the salt air, I realized I'd love to live on the beach. Even though I love farms and mountains, there's something about the ocean that puts me at ease. This painting is about just watching the sunrise, and cruising down the coastline to watch the waves crash in and the clouds roll past overhead. In our fast paced world today, it is so necessary to take time to just escape and soak in God's gifts.
