Christmas Tree Memories by Mark Keathley

Jim is a jovial, likable, and friendly man that started selling Christmas trees when he was a teen with his father and mother.  He later became a pilot and flew all over the country, but every fall, his passion was to continue the nostalgia and a place for family traditions of providing a “Let’s go get a Christmas tree” family affair in the Memphis area.   Over the years it expanded to several lots, and even pumpkins!  He was famous in his white Jeep, “there’s Big Jim!” the kids would say, when they saw him in his jeep.  thousands of families have been blessed with his efforts to provide an “event” and a  fun place to go and hang out during the holiday season, and He has so many stories to share about it.   In this painting, I tried to capture many of those memorable moments and put them in a scene that would inspire your own Christmas nostalgia.
