Winter Monarch by Mark Keathley

The little creek that flows behind our cabin is often muffled by the hush of a million snow flakes.  The sound volume is cut in half if you are paying attention to it.   I have spent many hours sitting and watching the magic of this type of precipitation, studying it, memorizing it, paying so much attention that my imagination takes over and something appears that isn’t really there.  “I’ve got to go paint that!”  I think, and wallah!
