Talking to Mom by Abraham Hunter

 

Having a little toddler has given me a lot of inspiration for my work. I’m especially in awe of the dynamic between my wife and son and how God just designed all the nurturing and learning to happen so smoothly when parents make it a peaceful loving home. This little bear cub has been roaming around the forest while mom took a rest. It’s just natural that after a while he’d need to come back and tell mom everything he discovered about his new world! I tried to capture this cute moment in this painting, titled “Talking To Mom”. Soon he’ll be done rambling and hop off her lap and head back to roaming around!
