I’ve done a lot of hiking over the years as an artist. It is one of the great perks - getting to call “work” this challenging trail to the top. Recently I went up to over 13,000 feet with Landon on a hike that was extreme and scary at the end. We didn’t actually go over the edge to make it 400 more feet to the top of Engineer pass, because I did want to live another day, but along the way we saw some beautiful meadows with unique flowers and beautiful views. I combined many photos from that day and a few from some other hikes to create for you “Alpine Meadow.” So sit a spell, and smell the aromas, feel the cool breeze and watch a few butterflies do their work to help bring all this back for another year.
