In San Francisco, Market Street I took the liberty of turning back the clock to a vivid and very colorful era. It was an era when the cable cars were an efficient way of getting around the 'City By The Bay' and when Market Street was truly the heart of San Francisco, the city where I left my heart.

— Thomas Kinkade

This features such famous landmark buildings as the Chronicle Building (on left), the Central Tower (on right), and the Ferry Building.  The painting takes place in approximately 1900, six years before the large earthquake.  One building has a Media Arts Group sign while another features Nanette and Chandler’s name.  There is a flag that says “TK” on the left.
