A back view of the manor in Beyond Autumn Gate, but much embellished from Thom’s vision of what the house should look like. This piece is the third and final work in the series. A bench (located on the left side of the painting) was painted there as a tribute for his expecting wife, Nanette (Winsor would be born soon after).
In Gardens Beyond Autumn Gate a graceful Greek urn rises out of a
reflecting pool, just as a manor house looms above its manicured
grounds. A radiant light permeates the misty air. Here is the
perfection that exists only in places that touch our imaginations and
our hearts.

Thom and Nanette still own the original of this painting. The National Association of Limited Edition Dealers (NALED) named this work as Second Runner-up for the Graphic/Lithograph of the Year award in 1995.
