Master Highlighter Events
 
Thomas Kinkade's Master Highlighter will be in several Art of the South locations this year. Purchase a canvas and watch your canvas come to life as the Master Highlighter paints additional oil highlights on your canvas. A Master Highlighter Event is an 8-hour personal stage appearance by a certified Thomas Kinkade Master Highlighter. At the event, a highlighter enhances images of the gallery's choice. Pieces explode with dimension and are brought to life with a stroke of the Master Highlighter's brush. To qualify for this event, purchases of a limited edition canvas can be made 30 days prior to the event. If you have any questions, please call your local gallery.

Highlighting Event in Pigeon Forge, TN
 
Shown at left is Harold Smith, a Master Highlighter for the Thomas Kinkade Company.  Looking on are Darlene Smith and Gene and Shirley Smith.  Darlene is an art consultant at the Thomas Kinkade Gallery in Walden's Landing.  She is the only Smith in the group that is not related.  Gene and Shirley are long time collectors of Thomas Kinkade's work.  Gene introduced his brother Harold to Thom's work, and Harold since became one of Thom's Master Highlighters.  Now Harold gets the pleasure of working on one of his brother's purchases.
